Shipping and Returns Policy
Because of the perishable nature of our products we STGRONGLY recommend overnight shipping. Although we take the utmost care when packing orders and use UPS as our shipping affiliate, we have no control once it leaves our hands it enters their system. Shipping via other than overnight can expose your chocolate to conditions that may cause it to arrive in less than perfect condition. During summer months, shipping with cold packs may be employed at an additional cost to help ensure the integrity of your order.
Between the months of May and October, 'Summer Shipping' rates will apply. During this period we will not offer UPS 3-Day Shipping. Also during summer shipping months a 5% fee (of shipping costs) will be charged to cover the additional cost of gel packs to keep your items at a lower temperature to help prevent possible melting of your products.
Humidity and rain can affect your chocolate; humidity can cause the sugar crystals to separate from the chocolate making it dull, and grainy effecting appearance and mouth feel, but not taste.
Extreme temperature fluctuation from cool to warm to cool again can cause blooming where the cocoa butter to rise to the surface of the chocolate cause whitish/grayish streaks marring the appearance but again not the taste.
By accepting these terms and conditions you acknowledge these factors as no fault of ‘bon bon’
All sales are FINAL, we do not accept returns / refunds because of the nature of our products and the above mentioned factors. We will consider credits / replacements on a case by case basis.
